Dynatrace announced its integration with AWS Elastic Container Registry (ECR) to provide enhanced visibility, orchestration, and prioritization of cross-container-registry vulnerability findings. This integration aims to offer a single pane of glass for container image scans of containerized applications.
The integration allows security findings from AWS ECR to be pushed into the Dynatrace platform through AWS Event Bridge via a dedicated security ingest endpoint powered by OpenPipeline. This process ensures a unified format for analysis by mapping ingested data according to the Dynatrace Semantic Dictionary.
By enriching vulnerability findings with runtime context from monitored entities, Dynatrace helps filter out noise and prioritize critical issues relevant to production environments. This enables SecDevOps teams to focus remediation efforts on the most impactful security risks.
