Thousands of patients were proactively dialyzed ahead of the storm in more than 150 centers to ensure uninterrupted access to life-sustaining treatment. DaVita deployed essential resources such as water tankers, fuel tankers, generators, additional supplies, and medication across the state.
The company's national emergency management team directed and supported centers in affected areas, routing patients to safe locations. DaVita also provided patients with relevant medical information to facilitate care at different centers, demonstrating a comprehensive approach to emergency preparedness and patient safety.
