Brinker International, Inc. announced the appointment of Timothy (TJ) Johnson to its Board of Directors. Johnson brings over 30 years of experience as a financial, strategic, and operational leader with global retail brands, including more than a decade as a public company Chief Financial Officer.
Johnson previously served as Chief Financial and Chief Administrative Officer for Victoria's Secret & Co. and Big Lots. He qualifies as a financial expert, possessing significant experience in financial planning and analysis, strategy development, accounting, investor relations, capital allocation, mergers and acquisitions, and risk management.
Joe DePinto, Brinker's Chairman of the Board, stated that Johnson's expertise will help Brinker continue to improve its guest experience and maintain industry leadership. His addition is expected to provide leadership depth and insight to promote continued growth in long-term shareholder value.
