EDF Renewables North America and Enbridge Inc. announced today that the Amazon Solar Farm Ohio - Fox Squirrel Solar project achieved full operational status in December 2024. All three phases of the project are now actively delivering electricity to the PJM grid.
The Fox Squirrel Solar facility is a ground-mounted solar project with a total capacity of 577 MWac/749 MWdc. This makes it one of the largest utility-scale solar projects in Ohio, significantly contributing to renewable energy generation.
This milestone underscores Enbridge's commitment to expanding its renewable power generation segment. The project is expected to provide stable, long-term cash flows and supports the company's strategic positioning in the evolving energy landscape.
