eGain Reports Strong Fiscal Fourth Quarter and Full Year 2025 Results, Expands Stock Repurchase Program

eGain announced its financial results for the fourth quarter and full fiscal year ended June 30, 2025. For Q4 FY2025, total revenue was $23.0 million, a 4% decrease from $24.0 million in the prior year. SaaS revenue decreased by 3% to $21.4 million, while professional services revenue decreased by 20% to $1.6 million. GAAP net income for Q4 FY2025 was $30.9 million, or $1.11 per share, a significant increase from $1.0 million, or $0.03 per share, in the prior year, primarily due to a benefit from income taxes related to the release of a valuation allowance. Non-GAAP net income for the quarter was $2.5 million, or $0.09 per share, up from $1.5 million, or $0.05 per share, in the prior year. For the full fiscal year 2025, total revenue was $88.2 million, down 5% from $92.7 million in FY2024. GAAP net income for the full year was $32.3 million, or $1.16 per share, compared to $7.3 million, or $0.23 per share, in FY2024. Non-GAAP net income for the full year was $7.6 million, or $0.27 per share, up from $5.4 million, or $0.17 per share, in FY2024. Annual recurring revenue (ARR) from AI Knowledge Hub customers increased by 16% year-over-year for the full fiscal year. eGain provided guidance for the first quarter of fiscal 2026, expecting total revenue between $22.5 million and $23.0 million. For the full fiscal year 2026, the company projects total revenue in the range of $93.0 million to $95.0 million. GAAP net income for FY2026 is expected to be between $3.0 million and $4.0 million, or $0.11 to $0.14 per share. In a separate but related announcement, eGain's Board of Directors approved a $20 million increase to its stock repurchase program, raising the total authorization from $40 million to $60 million. As of September 3, 2025, the company had repurchased approximately $39.8 million of its common stock under the program.
