The Estée Lauder Companies announced on April 30, 2025, that Carl Haney, Executive Vice President, Global Innovation and Research & Development (R&D), will depart the company effective June 30, 2025, to pursue new opportunities.
With Mr. Haney's transition, ELC intends to bring in new external talent to drive the next era of transformative innovation, aligning with its strategic vision of becoming the best, most consumer-centric, prestige beauty company.
The company plans to evolve the structure of its R&D team, expand external partnerships, strengthen product and commercial innovation, and accelerate speed-to-market. Mr. Haney had advanced end-to-end product and corporate innovation during his decade-long tenure.
