The Ensign Group, Inc. announced several acquisitions effective June 1, 2025. In California, the company acquired the operations of Toluca Lake Transitional Care, a 52-bed skilled nursing facility located in North Hollywood. The real estate for this facility is slated for acquisition by a subsidiary of Standard Bearer Healthcare REIT, Inc. following state regulatory approvals, and was part of the larger Providence acquisition announced in December 2024.
In Idaho, Ensign acquired the operations of Ironwood Rehabilitation and Care Center, an 80-bed skilled nursing facility, and Lakeside Rehabilitation and Care Center, a 100-bed skilled nursing facility, both located in Coeur d’Alene. These Idaho acquisitions are subject to a long-term triple net master lease with a third-party landlord.
These additions bring Ensign's growing portfolio to 347 healthcare operations, which includes 44 senior living operations, across 17 states. Ensign subsidiaries, including Standard Bearer, now own 144 real estate assets, reflecting continued strategic growth in key markets and the expansion of its operational clusters.
