The Ensign Group, Inc. announced two acquisitions effective July 1, 2025. Through a subsidiary of Standard Bearer Healthcare REIT, Inc., Ensign acquired the real estate for Duncanville Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center, a 124-bed skilled nursing facility located in Duncanville, Texas. This facility will be operated by a third-party operator under a long-term triple net lease.
In a separate transaction on the same day, Ensign acquired the real estate and operations of Timber Springs Transitional Care, a 120-bed skilled nursing facility located in Boise, Idaho. The real estate for this facility was also acquired by a subsidiary of Standard Bearer, and it will be operated by an Ensign-affiliated tenant.
These acquisitions bring Ensign's growing portfolio to 348 healthcare operations, which includes 44 senior living operations, across 17 states. Ensign subsidiaries, including Standard Bearer, now own 146 real estate assets, reflecting continued strategic growth in both real estate ownership and operational management.
