Enterprise Products Partners announced on August 22, 2025, the completion of its acquisition of a natural gas gathering affiliate of Occidental. The transaction was finalized for $580 million in cash consideration and was a debt-free purchase.
The acquired assets include certain natural gas gathering systems in the Midland Basin, along with approximately 200 miles of natural gas gathering pipelines. These systems support Occidental’s production activities and immediately expand Enterprise’s natural gas gathering footprint in the Midland Basin.
This strategic acquisition provides Enterprise with access to more than 1,000 drillable locations, offering long-term development visibility in a key producing region. The completion of this deal strengthens Enterprise's integrated natural gas liquids value chain and its position in the Permian Basin.
