FedEx Corp. announced the appointment of Vishal Talwar as Executive Vice President, Chief Digital and Information Officer (CDIO) of FedEx Corp., and President of FedEx Dataworks, effective August 15. Talwar brings over 27 years of experience in leveraging technology to drive growth, improve operational efficiency, and enhance customer experience.
Formerly senior managing director & chief growth officer of Accenture Technology, Talwar's expertise spans data science, digital infrastructure, and enterprise-scale transformation. He has been actively involved with FedEx’s digital transformation efforts through his previous work at Accenture.
In his new role, Talwar will lead strategic initiatives focused on developing innovative digital solutions powered by data and artificial intelligence, advanced technology, robust enterprise architecture, and comprehensive cybersecurity measures. This appointment underscores FedEx's commitment to advancing its long-term strategy and harnessing digital capabilities to deliver greater value to customers and stockholders.
