Forum Energy Technologies, Inc. announced that Mr. C. Christopher Gaut plans to retire from the FET Board of Directors at the conclusion of his current term. He will not stand for re-election at the company’s 2025 annual meeting of stockholders, marking a significant transition in board leadership.
Mr. Gaut was first elected as a director of Forum Oilfield Technologies in 2006 and was instrumental in the creation of Forum Energy Technologies. He subsequently led FET through its initial public offering in 2012, serving as Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board.
Mr. Michael McShane, FET’s Lead Independent Director, expressed gratitude for Mr. Gaut's dedication and service, noting his critical leadership across several industry cycles. His continued service on the Board after retiring as CEO in 2022 ensured a smooth leadership transition for the company.
