Fortuna Mining Corp. announced an update to its Mineral Reserves and Mineral Resources at the Séguéla Mine in Côte d’Ivoire, effective October 31, 2024, highlighting the discovery of over 500,000 gold ounces of new Inferred Resources. This expansion significantly grew the total Inferred Resources to 677,000 gold ounces, incorporating contributions from four new mineral deposits.

The Kingfisher deposit emerged as a key discovery, with an Inferred Mineral Resource of 4.0 million tonnes at an average grade of 2.29 g/t Au, containing 294,000 gold ounces. Additionally, the Badior deposit contributed an Inferred Mineral Resource of 470,000 tonnes at an average grade of 4.05 g/t Au, containing 61,000 gold ounces. These new resources underscore the Séguéla property's exploration potential.

While Mineral Reserve tonnes decreased by 20 percent, the gold grade increased by 11 percent to 3.38 g/t Au, with contained gold ounces decreasing by 12 percent due to mining depletion and pit optimization. The substantial increase in Inferred Resources, up 176 percent from December 31, 2023, provides a robust pipeline for future reserve expansion and definition drilling in 2025.
