Fortuna Mining Corp. reported successful exploration drilling results at its Séguéla Mine in Côte d’Ivoire, further extending the Kingfisher and Sunbird deposits. At Kingfisher, recent intersections included 15.3 meters averaging 4.1 g/t Au and 17 meters averaging 3.3 g/t Au, located approximately 150 meters along strike from the recently reported maiden Inferred Resource.

The Kingfisher deposit remains open at depth for most of its 2-kilometer strike, with current drilling reaching only about 250 meters below surface. Two drill rigs are scheduled to continue operations into the second quarter of 2025, focusing on resource infill drilling for conversion and testing for depth and strike extensions.

At the Sunbird deposit, mineralization has been successfully drill-defined approximately 650 meters further along strike from the existing underground resource, and it remains open. Drilling highlights from Sunbird included a high-grade intercept of 20.4 g/t Au over an estimated true width of 19.6 meters. Drilling at Sunbird will continue into the first half of 2025 to support an updated resource model and underground mining studies.
