Fortuna Mining Corp. announced new high-grade exploration drilling results from its Séguéla Mine in Côte d’Ivoire, with a notable intercept at the Kingfisher deposit of 7.2 g/t Au over an estimated true width of 31.5 meters. This infill drilling program aims to improve resource confidence along the 1-kilometer strike length of the current resource pit.
The company expects to integrate Kingfisher resources into the Séguéla Mine Mineral Reserves during 2025, signaling a potential upgrade in classification and contribution to future production. Kingfisher remains open at depth for most of its 2-kilometer strike length, with current drilling extending to approximately 250 meters below surface.
At the Sunbird deposit, deep exploration drilling continued to yield strong results, including 4.3 g/t Au over a true width of 23.1 meters from 733 meters, marking the deepest intercept to date at Séguéla. Mineralization at Sunbird remains open at depth and down plunge, indicating further potential for resource expansion.
