Gap announced an expanded partnership with Sean Wotherspoon, its Global Vintage Curator, to launch the 'GapVintage' program. This initiative aims to make Gap's iconic product archive directly available to customers worldwide through a series of yearlong vintage drops. The program will feature a curated selection of seasonal themed pieces, with the first drop highlighting Wotherspoon's favorite recovered Gap items from the '80s, '90s, and 2000s. These pieces, authenticated and hand-sourced, include essentials like the '90s Striped Pocket T-Shirt and rare exclusives such as the '80s Denim Jacket Hoodie. The first 'GapVintage' drop will be available in the U.S. starting February 4, 2025, on gap.com and at the Flatiron Store in New York, with prices ranging from $55 to $90. This expansion leverages the growing vintage and secondhand market to engage younger generations and reinforce Gap's heritage.
