Gap Inc. announced a partnership with Syre, an H&M-backed textile recycling firm, to source recycled polyester. This collaboration aligns with the growing demand for sustainable fashion and Gap Inc.'s environmental commitments. Under the agreement, Gap Inc. plans to utilize 10,000 tons per year of Syre's recycled polyester chip. Syre aims to produce over 3 million metric tons of polyester by 2032 through recycling used garments.
