Galaxy Asset Management, an affiliate of Galaxy Digital Inc., announced the final close of its oversubscribed Galaxy Ventures Fund I, LP (GVF I) on June 26, 2025. The Fund secured over $175 million in capital commitments, surpassing its target of $150 million. This demonstrates strong investor demand for access to the digital asset venture ecosystem. GVF I focuses on investing in early-stage companies that are developing critical infrastructure and applications for the onchain economy. Its investment strategy targets secular growth areas such as stablecoins, payments, tokenization, and their supporting infrastructure. The fund has already invested in promising startups including 1Money, Arch Lending, Ethena, and Monad. This milestone marks a new chapter for Galaxy Ventures, which previously invested from Galaxy's balance sheet since 2018. The successful fundraise, attracting a diverse group of institutional investors, family offices, and strategic digital asset businesses, underscores Galaxy's expertise in backing visionary founders in the crypto space.
