Gentex Corporation announced the immediate availability of its new LX9™ Liner System, an affordable, drop-in upgrade for US military combat helmets. The company will deliver over 18,000 systems to the US Army for use in the NG-IHPS helmet system during 2025.
The LX9 Liner System is compatible with a broad range of commonly used ground combat helmets, including ACH, ECH, and NG-IHPS models. It is designed to provide enhanced comfort and stability in a lightweight package, weighing under 66 grams, making it the lightest liner option on the market.
This system features a 9-piece EPP and comfort foam pad set with advanced breathability and absorbency, and a redesigned brow pad for added stability. It provides impact protection exceeding AR/PD 10-02 standards in various common helmets.
