Gentex Corporation debuted a range of next-generation products at CES 2025, including display-integrated dimmable sun visors, digital rearview mirrors with OLED displays, and mirror-integrated driver and in-cabin monitoring systems. The company also showcased enhancements to its HomeLink car-to-home automation system.
New dimmable film technology for large panoramic sunroofs and dimmable sun visors with switchable vanity mirrors and transparent displays were presented. The mirror-integrated Driver Monitoring System (DMS) tracks driver head pose and eye gaze to detect distraction and drowsiness, with capabilities to expand to 3D cabin monitoring.
The next-generation HomeLink system will be compatible with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and will operate smart home products from brands like Amazon and Samsung Smart Things. Gentex also highlighted product development activities with strategic partners such as ADASKY, SAAM, PhotoniCare, and Solace, demonstrating wireless power and data technology in automotive applications.
