Granite Construction announced the appointment of J. Timothy Romer to its Board of Directors, effective September 8, 2025. Mr. Romer brings nearly four decades of experience in finance and infrastructure, including senior leadership roles at top-tier financial institutions.
Mr. Romer spent 30 years in senior roles at Goldman Sachs and Merrill Lynch, leading the Western Region Public Sector and Infrastructure Investment Banking groups. He also held senior operating roles at private companies in the software and climate technology sectors.
Mr. Romer will serve on both the Audit/Compliance Committee and the Risk Committee of the Board. His deep understanding of how transformative infrastructure projects are financed and executed is expected to guide Granite’s continued growth and innovation in the infrastructure space.
