In his new role, Mr. Buckley will oversee Hamilton's risk and actuarial function. He succeeds Alex Baker, who was recently appointed Chief Executive Officer of Hamilton Global Specialty, effective September 1, 2025. Mr. Buckley brings over 30 years of insurance industry experience from global public (re)insurance companies, including Old Republic Specialty Insurance Underwriters, The Hartford, AIG, XL, and Munich Reinsurance Group.
This appointment reinforces Hamilton's commitment to robust risk management and actuarial oversight. Mr. Buckley's extensive experience and results-driven mindset are expected to further strengthen the company's risk framework and support its strategic objectives.
