Horace Mann Educators Corporation reported record second-quarter 2025 core earnings of $1.06 per diluted share, a 292.6% increase over the prior year. Total revenues for the quarter grew 6.1% to $411.7 million, driven by strong business profitability and growth momentum.

The company significantly raised its full-year 2025 core EPS guidance to a range of $4.15 to $4.45, reflecting very strong first-half results and a clear line of sight to achieving target profitability across all segments. The trailing 12-month core return on equity reached an impressive 12.6%.

The Property & Casualty segment achieved a combined ratio of 97.0%, a 15-point improvement year-over-year, with catastrophe losses below historical averages. Life & Retirement core earnings doubled, and individual supplemental sales surged 43% year-over-year, marking a record-breaking quarter for that segment.
