Humana today announced its Medicare Advantage and Medicare Prescription Drug Plan offerings for 2026. The new plans will be available during the Medicare Annual Election Period (Oct. 15‑Dec. 7) and will include medical, dental, vision, hearing, and prescription drug coverage. The company emphasized simplicity, stability, and quality care, with standardized plan materials and clear benefit structures. Humana also announced that about 83% of its stand‑alone prescription drug plans for 2026 will feature a premium decrease. The maximum out‑of‑pocket cost for covered prescriptions will be capped at $2,100, and the plans will offer $0 copays for many common generic medications. The premium reductions are part of Humana’s strategy to improve affordability and member retention. The 2026 Medicare Advantage plans will be offered in 46 states and Washington, D.C., covering 85% of U.S. counties, with new plan types in four states and 177 counties. Humana is expanding its Special Needs Plans to additional states, providing enhanced benefits for members with chronic kidney conditions and other special circumstances. The plans also include expanded preventive services such as breast, colon, and bone density screenings at no additional cost. Humana’s CenterWell Pharmacy will remain available to all Medicare Advantage and Prescription Drug Plan members, offering home delivery and a broad pharmacy network. The company also highlighted its investment in primary care and preventive care, with primary care visits designed to reduce emergency room utilization. These product enhancements reinforce Humana’s integrated care model and support its long‑term growth strategy.
