IES Holdings, Inc. reported continued momentum in its fiscal second quarter ended March 31, 2025, with consolidated revenue increasing 18% to $834.0 million and operating income rising 19% to $92.7 million compared to the prior year. The Communications, Infrastructure Solutions, and Commercial & Industrial segments continued to benefit from strong demand, particularly in the data center market.
The Communications segment's revenue surged 41% to $273.1 million, driven by accelerated project schedules and robust new bookings in the data center sector. Infrastructure Solutions revenue increased 55% to $117.6 million, fueled by demand for custom engineered solutions for data centers, with Greiner Industries and Arrow Engine contributing $15.7 million to the revenue growth.
The Residential segment's revenue decreased 6% to $317.9 million, and operating income fell 35% to $22.7 million, primarily due to decreased housing affordability and declining multi-family backlog. IES Holdings also entered into a lease for a new production facility in Birmingham, Alabama, to expand capacity for its custom engineered solutions business.
