Intuit introduced its new AI‑driven Intuit Intelligence System and the Intuit Accountant Suite, expanding its product portfolio to serve mid‑market businesses and accounting firms with integrated AI capabilities.

The Intuit Intelligence System consolidates a company’s financial data and deploys a virtual team of AI agents across payments, payroll, accounting, and tax. Users can query the system through an “Ask Anything” interface, while trusted human experts are available to supplement AI recommendations.

The Intuit Accountant Suite, built on the same Generative AI Operating System (GenOS) that underpins Intuit’s other products, bundles client management, collaboration, service delivery, business planning, and team management tools. The suite includes AI‑native features such as a Sales Tax Agent, Payroll Agent, and enhanced Accounting Agent, and offers beta functionality like Books Close at Scale and AI‑powered Client Insights.

The launch was announced at Intuit Connect, the company’s annual event for accounting professionals in Las Vegas, and is available at no cost to U.S. accounting firms today, with plans for international rollout. Future pricing will be based on functionality and market conditions.

Intuit’s strategy to become an AI‑driven expert platform is part of its broader “five Big Bets,” which also include accelerating growth in the mid‑market and expanding its Intuit Enterprise Suite, an ERP solution for mid‑market businesses launched in September 2024.

The new platform strengthens Intuit’s competitive moat by leveraging its proprietary financial data and GenOS, positioning the company to capture a larger share of the $89 billion mid‑market addressable market and deepen cross‑sell opportunities across TurboTax, QuickBooks, Credit Karma, and Mailchimp.

Intuit serves approximately 100 million customers worldwide, underscoring the scale of its ecosystem and the potential impact of the new AI‑driven offerings.
