Jayud Global Logistics Limited announced that it has secured a 52% controlling interest in the Longgang Cross‑Border E‑Commerce Center, a Shenzhen‑based hub that offers integrated warehousing, customs clearance, freight forwarding and digital supply‑chain management. The company had previously held a minority stake, and the transaction brings it to majority control; the purchase price and any multiples paid were not disclosed.

The Longgang Center’s 2024 throughput was 13,978 full‑size containers, with an export value of US$4.6 billion, 83,000 tons of cargo and 270 million parcels. As of September 30, 2025, the Center had processed 6,863 containers worth US$2.45 billion, 44,129 tons of goods and 46.91 million parcels, underscoring its continued role as a key node in Shenzhen’s cross‑border logistics network.

Jayud’s own financials have been under pressure, with negative earnings, declining revenue growth and thin margins reported in recent quarters. The acquisition is therefore a strategic effort to stabilize the company’s financial performance by leveraging the Longgang Center’s proven throughput and technology platform, and by expanding bonded logistics capabilities that can generate higher‑margin services.

The company plans to deploy technology upgrades for real‑time tracking, expand bonded logistics capacity and forge new international partnerships at the Longgang site. These moves are designed to capture the growing demand for cross‑border e‑commerce in Shenzhen, a city that handled 372 billion RMB of imports and exports in 2024, ranks first in China for three consecutive years, hosts over 150,000 export enterprises and attracts 80% of the world’s top 20 cross‑border platforms.

"Acquiring a controlling interest in the Longgang Cross‑Border E‑Commerce Center represents a pivotal step in consolidating our leadership in Shenzhen’s vibrant logistics landscape," said Xiaogang Geng, Chairman and CEO of Jayud Global Logistics. He added that the move will enable the company to accelerate and scale its operations to meet the surging demand for cross‑border solutions.
