KinderCare Learning Companies, Inc. announced the results of its sixth annual KinderCare Confidence Index on March 11, 2025, conducted in collaboration with The Harris Poll. The study reveals deepening concerns from parents about access to child care, with many prioritizing child care over raises and career advancement.

The survey indicates that nearly two-thirds of parents report that return-to-office mandates have impacted their child care needs. A significant discrepancy was found between employee and HR leader perceptions, with 43% of parents viewing child care benefits as crucial, compared to only 33% of CHROs.

These findings highlight a clear opportunity for employers to alleviate child care stress by offering customized family care benefits, including employer-sponsored child care. The report underscores the essential role of quality child care solutions in supporting modern families and the workforce.
