Stores in Bonita Springs, Brandon, Cape Coral, Clearwater, Fort Myers, Lake Wales, Lakeland, Naples, New Port Richey, Port Charlotte, Sarasota, South Sarasota, Spring Hill, St. Petersburg, Tampa North, and Wesley Chapel were closed.
Further closures were scheduled for October 9, including stores in Jensen Beach, Port Orange, Viera, and West Melbourne. Kohl's is continuously monitoring the situation and will reopen stores once conditions are deemed safe.
