KVH Industries reported second quarter 2025 revenue of $26.6 million on August 7, 2025, a 7% decrease compared to $28.7 million in Q2 2024. Despite the revenue dip, the company achieved GAAP net income of $0.9 million, or 5 cents per share, marking a return to profitability from a $2.4 million loss in Q2 2024.

A significant milestone was reached as the increase in LEO revenue from the immediately preceding quarter more than offset the decline in revenue from its legacy GEO-based VSAT business for the first time. LEO services sales represented over 30% of airtime services sales in Q2 2025, a substantial increase from less than 10% in Q2 2024.

Operational highlights include maritime airtime subscribers growing 8% sequentially to over 8,000 vessels, an all-time high, driven by Starlink and increasing demand for OneWeb service. CommBox Edge Communications Gateway activations also increased by more than 24% from Q1 2025. KVH updated its 2025 guidance, projecting revenue between $107 million and $114 million and Adjusted EBITDA of $8 million to $12 million, while striving for free cash flow positivity in 2025.
