Lucid Group announced that Chief Executive Officer Peter Rawlinson has stepped down from his role, effective immediately. Rawlinson will transition to serve as a 'strategic technical advisor to the chairman of the board', stepping aside from his prior roles.
Marc Winterhoff, previously the company's Chief Operating Officer, has been appointed as interim CEO. The company's board has initiated a search to identify a new permanent CEO.
Rawlinson's departure, after 12 years of leadership, comes as the company expects to more than double vehicle production in 2025 to 20,000 units. This leadership transition introduces a period of change for Lucid.
