Logitech International announced that its board of directors has unanimously approved the nomination of Guy Gecht as the company’s new chairperson. Gecht brings decades of executive and board-level experience to the role, having previously served as interim CEO from June to December 2023.
Gecht has been a non-executive member of Logitech’s board since September 2019 and was CEO of publicly traded Electronics for Imaging (EFI) from 2000 to 2018. His nomination follows Wendy Becker's decision not to stand for re-election after six years as chairperson.
Shareholders will be asked to elect Gecht at the company’s 2025 annual general meeting in September. This nomination signals a planned and smooth leadership transition at the board level.
