Giant Eagle, one of the nation’s largest food retailers and distributors, has successfully implemented Manhattan Active® Warehouse Management (WM) at its largest facility in Bedford Heights, Ohio, spanning over one million square feet. This marks the fifth facility in their cloud migration to Manhattan Active WM, with plans to transition the remaining two distribution centers by September 2025. Each implementation has been completed with a quick return to full production levels within days. In its first week of operation, the Bedford Heights warehouse processed hundreds of thousands of inbound and outbound cases, exceeding expectations. This strong performance highlights the transformative impact of the new system on operational excellence. Giant Eagle is also implementing Manhattan Active® Transportation Management (TM) to unify warehouse and transportation operations, leveraging both solutions for optimized distribution and transportation execution. The successful implementation at Giant Eagle's largest facility, and the continued rollout across its network, demonstrates the scalability and efficiency of Manhattan Active WM. This milestone reinforces Manhattan's ability to deliver complex, large-scale cloud-native solutions to major retailers, securing long-term recurring revenue and strengthening its market position.
