Manhattan Associates announced sweeping Agentic AI support within Manhattan Active® solutions at Momentum 2025, introducing intelligent, autonomous digital agents to revolutionize supply chain commerce execution, optimization, and user experiences. These out-of-the-box AI agents, powered by large language models (LLMs) and Manhattan’s cloud-native architecture, will autonomously perform tasks, adapt to changing conditions, and dynamically orchestrate workflows. Initial agents include Intelligent Store Manager, Labor Optimizer Agent, and Virtual Configuration Consultant.
The company also launched Manhattan Agent Foundry™, a groundbreaking platform designed to enable organizations to rapidly build and deploy their own specialized agents within the Manhattan ecosystem. This platform aims to drastically reduce time-to-value, increase automation scalability, and enhance productivity. Agents built in Agent Foundry will be compatible with emerging industry standards like A2A and MCP protocols, ensuring interoperability with third-party platforms such as Google Agentspace.
Agentic AI assistants and Agent Foundry are scheduled for general availability starting Fall 2025. Sanjeev Siotia, CTO, stated that Agentic AI is a transformative innovation, and opening Agent Foundry to customers and partners ensures AI agent creation is not constrained by vendor development cycles. This initiative positions Manhattan at the forefront of AI innovation in supply chain commerce.
