MediaCo Partners with Katz Television Group as Exclusive National Sales Representative for EstrellaTV

MediaCo Holding Inc. announced a partnership with Katz Television Group to serve as the exclusive national media sales representative for its EstrellaTV stations.

The agreement covers EstrellaTV stations in New York, Los Angeles, Miami, Houston, Chicago, and Denver, and gives Katz exclusive rights to political advertising sales and the preferred partner status for direct‑response and paid advertising across the network’s portfolio.

The partnership leverages Katz’s national sales infrastructure and relationships to monetize EstrellaTV’s 92% increase in prime‑time viewership among adults 18‑49 in November, the highest year‑over‑year growth in the network’s history. Katz represents roughly 400 television stations and 3,500 radio stations, reaching an estimated 275 million consumers, giving MediaCo a national sales channel for its growing Spanish‑language network.

EstrellaTV’s growth is driven by a strong programming lineup that includes “Tengo Talento Kids,” “Alarma TV,” “100 Latinos Dijeron,” and Liga MX matches. The 92% viewership jump reflects the network’s ability to attract Hispanic audiences in top markets, positioning it as a valuable advertising platform.

MediaCo’s financial context shows 2024 revenue of $95.57 million, up 195% from 2023. Q3 2025 net revenues were $35.4 million, up 19% from Q3 2024, but the company posted a net loss of $17.9 million versus a net income in Q3 2024. Year‑to‑date 2025 net revenue reached $59.3 million, up 80% from the prior year, with a net loss of $17.4 million. The partnership is expected to accelerate revenue growth and improve profitability by tapping into Katz’s sales network.

Brian Fisher, Chief Revenue Officer of MediaCo, said the partnership is a force multiplier that will help monetize EstrellaTV’s momentum. Craig Broitman, President of Katz Television Group, added that the alliance offers a powerful opportunity for advertisers and that they are proud to scale EstrellaTV’s assets nationally.

The Spanish‑language advertising market outperforms English‑language TV ads in engagement, and Hispanic consumers represent a growing purchasing power. By partnering with Katz, MediaCo is positioned to capture a larger share of this robust market.
