Modine announced on January 7, 2025, plans to open a new facility in Chennai, India, by mid-2025. This strategic expansion aims to meet the increased demand for mission-critical cooling solutions in data centers across India, Asia, and the Middle East. The new facility will manufacture Airedale by Modine™ data center cooling equipment, as well as cooling modules for stationary power generation equipment. This marks Modine's second facility in India, complementing its existing Modine Thermal Systems India plant established in 2007. This expansion follows recent manufacturing facility openings in Calgary, Canada, and Bradford, UK, underscoring Modine's global strategy to increase capacity and establish production in key growth regions. The investment is driven by the rapid expansion of AI and high-performance computing, which fuels demand for advanced thermal solutions.
