Modine announced on October 28, 2024, the opening of a new 23,200m² (approximately 250,000 sq ft) facility in Calgary, Canada. This facility will manufacture Airedale by Modine™ precision cooling equipment to address increased demand from data center customers, particularly in the hyperscale market.
The new Calgary facility expands Modine's global manufacturing footprint, which also includes sites in Spain, the UK, and the U.S., enhancing its capability to provide mission-critical cooling solutions worldwide. The first Airedale by Modine units from this facility are expected to be delivered by the end of 2024.
This expansion follows Modine's acquisition of Canada-based Scott Springfield Manufacturing in February, and the rapid operational turnaround from planning to execution highlights the company's commitment to expanding capacity and driving growth in the data center equipment market.
