Modine announced on November 15, 2024, a revitalization of its Hot Dawg® Unit Heaters series, introducing improvements aimed at enhancing performance, efficiency, and design. This update applies to its gas-fired, electric, and hydronic models. The Hot Dawg® Gas-Fired Unit Heater now features a dimpled heat exchanger tube, which boosts efficiency and reduces noise by replacing internal baffles. Additionally, the gas valve manometer connections have been repositioned to the front for easier installation. The Hot Dawg® H20 Low Profile Hot Water Unit Heater has been upgraded with a three-row coil and half-inch copper water pipe stub-outs. These enhancements, along with a refreshed aesthetic, aim to provide contractors and customers with more efficient and user-friendly heating solutions for residential and light commercial spaces.
