The company released an online Special Report featuring a public demonstration of its functioning ThermoLoop lab benchtop unit producing hydrogen in real-time. This version of the lab unit enables continuous hydrogen production, a significant advancement from previous iterations that could only produce oxygen or hydrogen separately.
CEO Steve Hill stated that this achievement shows how heat can split water into hydrogen and oxygen in a continuous looping reaction. This demonstration is the first step in scaling the technology from laboratory to commercial applications, addressing the fundamental cost challenge in clean hydrogen production by using heat instead of expensive electricity.
