NiSource Inc. announced the appointment of Durgesh Chopra as Vice President of Investor Relations, effective July 7. In this role, Chopra will be responsible for strengthening NiSource’s relationships with the investment community.
Chopra brings over 15 years of experience in the utilities, infrastructure, and renewables sectors, having previously served as Managing Director at Evercore and Director of Investor Relations at American Water. His expertise is expected to enhance the company's communication of its financial performance and strategic direction.
Shawn Anderson, Chief Financial Officer, noted that Chopra's deep investment community insight and hands-on experience align with NiSource’s mission to deliver safe, reliable energy and drive value to customers.
