First Phosphate Corp. announced the commercial cell testing results for its PHOS - LFP 18650 Battery Cells, which utilize natural graphite-based active anode material produced by Nouveau Monde Graphite (NMG). The testing demonstrated that battery cell capacities successfully met original manufacturing specifications and maintained consistency at increasing discharge rates.

The PHOS - LFP 18650 Battery Cells exhibited consistent and stable performance with minimal cell-to-cell variability, and projected a favorable retention of at least 80% initial capacity after 2000 discharge cycles. These results confirm the cells are well suited for high-performance applications requiring both energy density and power capability.

This successful validation underscores the quality of NMG's graphite and its critical role in enabling an end-to-end North American LFP battery supply chain. The positive performance of these cells, using NMG's material, strengthens the company's position as a strategic supplier to the burgeoning electric vehicle and energy storage markets.
