Energy Vault Secures Contract with Consumers Energy for 75 MW/300 MWh Battery Storage Projects in Michigan

Energy Vault announced an agreement with Consumers Energy, Michigan's largest energy provider, for the supply of two battery energy storage systems (BESS). These systems will total 75 MW/300 MWh.

The BESS deployments are planned for Iosco and Bay Counties in Michigan. Battery deliveries were expected to commence in Q4 2024, with construction anticipated to begin in Q1 2025.

This contract expands Energy Vault's footprint in the U.S. market and reinforces its role in supporting grid modernization and renewable energy integration. It represents a significant customer win for the company.
