Energy Vault Holdings Inc. announced that its Calistoga Resiliency Center (CRC) has received approval from the California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC). This approval allows the CRC to pursue market-based participation in the California Independent System Operator (CAISO) energy and ancillary markets.

This regulatory clearance, coupled with the recent execution of a Large Generator Interconnection Agreement, enables the CRC to generate revenue from grid services. It marks a critical step towards full economic operation of the facility.

The Calistoga Resiliency Center is the world's largest hybrid green hydrogen energy storage system. Its participation in the CAISO market will contribute to grid stability and resilience in California.
