Realtor.com, a News Corp subsidiary, has launched FlyAround, a 360° satellite view that delivers low‑altitude, spatially rich imagery for property listings. The feature uses Google Maps Platform 3D Maps and is powered by TopHap Inc.
FlyAround is available on all active listings as of October 30, 2025, and is expected to roll out to additional markets over the next few weeks. The integration allows users to explore homes and neighborhoods from a bird‑eye perspective, providing a more immersive pre‑visit experience.
The launch follows a 2% revenue increase for Realtor.com in the three months ending March 31, 2025, and aligns with News Corp’s Digital Real Estate Services growth strategy. In Q2 FY2024, REA Group reported record quarterly revenues of $292 million, underscoring the segment’s momentum.
Industry analysts note that Zillow remains the dominant U.S. portal, but features like FlyAround help Realtor.com compete for the second spot against Redfin and Homes.com. The addition of immersive mapping is expected to strengthen user engagement and support higher conversion rates.
Dave Herman, SVP of Product and AI Innovation at Realtor.com, said the new view “provides buyers with a richer, more detailed look at properties before they visit in person.” Tina Weyand, senior director of Product Management at Google Maps Platform, added that the partnership “leverages advanced 3D mapping to deliver a seamless experience.”
News Corp’s CEO Robert Thomson did not comment on the launch, but the company’s recent earnings report highlighted continued investment in digital platforms and data‑driven services.
