Orion Energy Systems announced it has secured two new contracts totaling $4.7 million for LED lighting and electrical infrastructure upgrades. The larger contract, valued at $3.6 million, covers multiple facilities at a company with 18,000 employees and is part of an ongoing multi‑year upgrade and new‑construction effort. The second contract, worth $1 million, spans five facilities in four U.S. states and marks the start of a multi‑year initiative.

The $3.6 million deal is not Orion’s largest contract; the company recently renewed a three‑year preventative maintenance agreement for LED lighting with a major U.S. retailer, valued at $42–$45 million and covering 2,050 locations nationwide. The renewal, announced earlier in October, will begin in March 2026.

Orion’s CEO Sally Washlow said the company is proud to be called upon by large enterprises and that its ability to scale with their needs is a key differentiator. COO Scott Green added that the new contracts reinforce Orion’s growing reputation as a reliable provider for national customers and support the company’s broader transformation strategy.

For fiscal year 2025, Orion reported revenue of $79.7 million, a 12% decline from the prior year, and a net loss. Gross margin improved to 25.4% due to pricing and cost actions. The company anticipates a 5% revenue increase in fiscal year 2026, with expectations of improved profitability.
