Opera released Opera One R2, a major update to its AI-powered browser, introducing a host of new features and enhancements. This version builds on the modular design of Opera One, integrating the latest AI innovations and offering extensive personalization options.
Key new features include dynamic themes, Split Screen for simultaneous tab usage, and Tab Traces for visual cues of recently visited tabs. Opera One R2 also brings detachable music and video controls, allowing users to move media players around the screen for convenient access.
The update incorporates advanced AI features previously tested in the developer stream, such as an improved Command Line interface for Aria, Page Context mode for summarizing webpages, and Image Generation and Understanding capabilities. Aria is now also available without a log-in in Opera One R2.
