Payoneer Forms Strategic Partnership with Stripe for Enhanced Online Checkout Experience

Payoneer Global Inc. announced on August 18, 2025, a strategic partnership with Stripe to enhance its Online Checkout offering for cross-border merchants. This collaboration will initially launch in key Asia Pacific (APAC) markets, including China and Hong Kong. The upgraded Payoneer Checkout capabilities, powered by Stripe's technology, will enable small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) to accept a broader range of payment methods.

The expanded payment options will include Buy Now Pay Later (BNPL) services such as Affirm and Klarna, as well as digital wallets like Apple Pay and Google Pay. Payoneer Checkout has demonstrated rapid market adoption, scaling from zero to nearly $1 billion in run-rate annual volume within three years. The business generated $30 million in revenue over the last twelve months through June 30, 2025, representing over 100% year-over-year growth.

Adam Cohen, Payoneer's Chief Growth Officer, emphasized the commitment to simplifying cross-border online trade for SMBs. This partnership combines Payoneer's local market distribution and expertise with Stripe's checkout technology to improve customer conversion rates, acceptance rates, and fraud reduction. The initiative aligns with Payoneer's strategy to expand its SMB financial stack through high-impact partnerships.
