The collaboration embeds PPG’s NEXA AUTOCOLOR® and MAXMEYER® coatings, along with product‑ and process‑specific emissions data, into Solera’s platform, allowing body‑shop customers to calculate CO₂ emissions per repair. The partnership also incorporates PPG’s digital tools—VISUALIZID™ color matching and MOONWALK® automated mixing—into the platform to improve repair efficiency and reduce material waste.
The deal expands PPG’s footprint in the vehicle‑repair market, strengthens its sustainability offering, and positions the company to meet emerging regulatory requirements such as the EU Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive.
