Parsons Corporation announced on October 24, 2024, that it was awarded a Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) Proliferation Prevention Program task order. This contract aims to reduce the threat of weapons of mass destruction (WMD) proliferation in Eastern Europe. The task order has a $27 million ceiling value and is new work for the company.
The contract falls under the DTRA Cooperative Threat Reduction Integrating Contract (CTRIC) III and consists of a two-year period of performance with three one-year option periods. Parsons will provide expertise, training, and resources to enable partner nations in Eastern Europe to address existing and emerging security risks. This includes program management, equipment procurement and delivery, training, sustainment, and design and construction management capabilities.
This award continues Parsons’ decades-long support of DTRA, having been named on the DTRA CTRIC III multiple award contract in June 2018. Through these task orders, Parsons has advanced the agency’s Cooperative Threat Reduction mission, which partners with countries to reduce global threats from WMD and related materials.
