Parsons Corporation announced on October 2, 2024, that it was awarded a position on an indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) multiple award task order contract (MATOC) by the Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA). This contract has a $4 billion ceiling value and is designed to support Countering Weapons Of Mass Destruction (CWMD) objectives. The agreement includes a five-year base period and one five-year option period, representing new work for the company.
Under this MATOC, Parsons will compete for task orders to perform research, development, testing and evaluation, procurement, maintenance, and systems engineering. These services aim to deliver scientific and technological solutions that meet the Department of Defense’s priority CWMD objectives. This award continues Parsons’ decades-long support of DTRA, which includes global projects addressing chemical weapons destruction and nuclear security.
The contract reinforces Parsons' proven technical capabilities in global security solutions support and development. It enables the company to advance DTRA’s mission to prevent, reduce, and counter WMD and emerging threats in an increasingly complex environment. This strategic win solidifies Parsons' standing as a key partner in national security initiatives.
