Pure Storage announced the appointment of Tarek Robbiati as its Chief Financial Officer (CFO), effective immediately. Robbiati brings over 25 years of financial and leadership experience in the global technology sector to the role.
Robbiati previously served as CFO of Hewlett Packard Enterprise Company (HPE), where he was instrumental in increasing gross margins, operating profit margins, and free cash flow, and in scaling the company from a traditional hardware business to an everything-as-a-service model. He also led turnaround efforts as CFO at Sprint Corporation.
CEO Charles Giancarlo stated that Robbiati's experience across compute, networking, and storage makes him an ideal choice to lead Pure Storage's evolution. Robbiati will oversee Pure Storage's global finance organization and replaces Kevan Krysler, whose departure was announced last month.
